DPDgroup offers a unique Virtual Reality experience through its network
19 December 2019 - For a number of years, DPDgroup has been undergoing a process of digital transformation, the company is transforming its services into unique experiences that bring efficiency and differentiation, ultimately resulting in improved customer relations and a clear competitive edge.
Today, the group is taking a step further in this strategy and back to its position as leading innovator in the logistics sector by incorporating Virtual Reality in its communications.
In doing so, DPDgroup with the support of its network (SEUR, DPD FR, DPD UK and DPD DE) is the first logistics company to use this technology to build a closer relationship with its customers and provide them with a unique experience.
Using Virtual Reality, DPDgroup has produced a 360º video to allow its customers to experience the journey made by a parcel in first person, from its collection in the United Kingdom to delivery in cities such as Paris, Madrid or Berlin. With this video, customers will be able to see for themselves all of the people and processes that are involved in the journey to ensure that the parcels reach their destination successfully.
